Munbaesul Cheonhyang is a 40% ABV soju from Gyeonggi-do, distilled by Munbaesul Brewingwon using Korean millet (jo) and sorghum (susu) with yeast, koji, and purified water. Munbaesul is one of Korea's most historically significant spirits, traditionally associated with Pyongyang before the division of the Korean peninsula, and the Cheonhyang expression continues that lineage in Gyeonggi-do. The millet-sorghum base creates a profile distinct from rice-based soju — drier, more mineral-driven, with a subtle grain complexity that rewards slow sipping. At 375ml and 40%, this is a contemplative spirit that reveals its character gradually.
