Description

Hulhul is a 14% ABV makgeolli from Jinjeong Brewing in Gangwon-do, distinguished by the addition of seokchangpo root extract to a glutinous and non-glutinous rice base with traditional nuruk. The herbal infusion adds a subtle, drying aromatic lift that makes each sip feel more layered and less one-dimensionally sweet than typical makgeolli. The result is a drink that balances creamy rice texture with an unexpected botanical edge, pairing especially well with savory fried dishes and robust Korean side dishes.
