Heonibi is an 8% ABV honey liqueur from Gyeonggi-do that, like its sister product Heonimun, centers on domestically sourced bee honey as the defining ingredient. The 500ml bottle format gives it a slightly more everyday positioning compared to smaller formats, while maintaining the same low-proof, honey-forward approach. What distinguishes this expression is its Grand Prize win at the 2018 Woorisool Quality Competition in the miscellaneous spirits category — the highest individual honor, above even the top excellence tier. The production draws on Gyeonggi-do's multifloral honey character, which tends to layer acacia lightness with deeper wildflower and occasional chestnut-blossom undertones. At 8%, the alcohol acts as a preservative and structural backbone for the honey aromatics rather than a flavor contributor in its own right.
