By Chance Yellow (Eoltteolgyeole Yelro) is a 6% ABV makgeolli from Gyeonggi-do, produced by Donggang Brewery using a multi-grain blend of Korean rice, millet, and corn alongside wheat-based nuruk and yeast. The triple-grain composition gives this 935ml bottle a fuller, more textured body than single-grain makgeolli — millet adds a nutty, slightly earthy dimension while corn contributes subtle sweetness and a smoother mouthfeel. Lactic acid provides gentle tang, and fructose supplements the natural grain sweetness. The generous format and low proof make this a convivial, shareable bottle with more complexity than its casual positioning suggests.
