Description

Cheongju Sinseonju 42 is a 42% ABV distilled spirit in a 375ml bottle from Sinseon in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do. The official Korean liquor guide lists rice, purified water and nuruk with chrysanthemum, achyranthes root, fleeceflower root, goji, dwarf lilyturf, dried rehmannia, rehmannia, ginseng, Korean angelica and asparagus root. It is the brewery's distilled product, separate from its takju and yakju. The producer states that spirits distilled in a traditional sojutgori still and an atmospheric-pressure copper still are blended, then aged in earthenware jars for 3 years.
