San Wild Grapeju

San Wild Grapeju (Sanmeoruju) is a 16% ABV wild grape fruit wine from Jeollabuk-do made with nearly 40% domestic mountain grapes (meoru). Unlike cultivated wine grapes, Korean wild mountain grapes are smaller, more intensely flavored, and higher in natural tannins — qualities that give this wine a darker, more complex fruit profile than typical sweet Korean fruit wines. The 16% ABV provides substantial body, while the combination of sugar, fructose, and enzyme-treated stevia manages sweetness without letting the berry character become cloying. At 360ml, it is a compact bottle meant for a focused tasting session or dessert pairing.
