까치설
Kkachiseol is a brewery based in Jangheung-gun, Jeonnam, producing traditional Korean alcohols including Ulssigo and forest-scented rice flower varieties.
ULSSIGO 얼씨고
ULSSIGO Eolssigo is a 30% ABV liqueur from Jeollanam-do that layers hovenia fruit with kiwi, enzyme-treated stevia, and oligosaccharide in a spirit base. The dual-fruit combination creates an aromatic profile that keeps unfolding — hovenia's woody, herbal warmth meeting kiwi's bright tropical lift. Despite the substantial proof, natural sweetness and citric acid balance prevent it from feeling harsh, making it a contemplative after-dinner pour alongside dried fruits, dark chocolate, or roasted nuts.

숲향벼꽃 술도깨비
Suphyang Byeokkot Suldokkaebi is a 5.8% ABV cheongju from Jeollanam-do that layers an unusually diverse botanical set — hovenia fruit, chrysanthemum, shiitake mushroom, bitter melon, and licorice — over a dual-rice base of glutinous and non-glutinous rice. The aroma unfolds in stages: floral chrysanthemum and sweet licorice give way to earthier mushroom and hovenia tones. At under 6%, this is gentle enough for delicate Korean courses like hanjeongsik or steamed fish where herbal subtlety enhances rather than overwhelms.
