Patch Batch Mandarin is an 8% ABV fermented rice drink from Jeju-do that showcases the island's citrus heritage through mandarin fruit, mandarin peel, dangyuja (Jeju citron) peel, and citrus blossom. Non-glutinous rice (mepssal) serves as the fermentation base, providing structure and body while the four citrus elements build layered aroma from floral top notes to zesty, gently bitter undertones. The dangyuja peel in particular contributes a distinctly Jeju character not found in mainland citrus varieties. At 8% ABV, the drink occupies a middle ground between casual refreshment and serious food pairing, working well with both banchan-style spreads and heartier grilled dishes.

만다린약주
Mandarin Yakju is a 12% ABV cheongju from Jeju-do, where Jejugojbat Brewery layers five distinct forms of citrus — mandarin concentrate, dried mandarin peel (jinpi), mandarin blossom, Hallabong rind, and dangyuja skin — into a clear rice wine base fermented with Korean wheat nuruk. The result is a bottle where citrus complexity unfolds gradually rather than hitting as a single note, moving from bright peel aromatics into deeper, almost marmalade-like warmth. Cinnamon rounds out the lower register, giving structure that prevents the floral lift from floating away. At 375ml, it is sized for a focused pairing with steamed fish or a refined hanjeongsik course where delicate flavors need a drink that adds dimension without overwhelming.

제주곶밭 제주메밀 맑은술
Jejugojbat Jejume Wheat Malkeunsul is a 16% ABV clear spirit from Jeju, crafted by Jejugojbat Brewery using rice, rice distillate, roasted buckwheat, nuruk, and yeast. The roasted Jeju buckwheat is the distinguishing element, contributing a toasty, nutty fragrance that lifts this well beyond a standard clear rice drink. The 100% rice distillate backbone keeps the spirit clean and smooth, while the buckwheat layers in an earthy complexity. At its moderate proof it works beautifully with grilled meats and bossam, where the toasted grain accent can complement savory richness.
