Ryeo Goguma Soju is a 25% ABV blended distilled soju from Gyeonggi-do, produced by Kooksoondang Yeoju using two single-ingredient distillates: 100% Yeoju rice spirit and 100% Yeoju sweet potato spirit. This dual-base approach creates a layered profile that opens with the clean precision of rice and transitions into the earthy, roasted sweetness characteristic of sweet potato distillation. The 375ml bottle at 25% occupies a mid-weight position — stronger than diluted commercial soju but gentler than cask-strength spirits — making it versatile across a range of Korean dishes. Yeoju, in Gyeonggi-do, is renowned for its high-quality rice, and the use of local sweet potato adds regional identity.
