Rude Berry is a 4.5% ABV fruit-based traditional Korean alcohol from Chungcheongbuk-do, crafted by Dancing Side Company Brewery with domestic apple juice as the primary base and Korean strawberry puree as the co-star. Dried lemongrass and basil leaves add herbal-citrus complexity beyond simple fruit sweetness, while fine carbonation from added carbon dioxide keeps the mouthfeel bright and textured. Freeze-dried strawberry powder intensifies the aroma without adding syrupy weight. Malic acid adjusts acidity, and potassium metabisulfite serves as antioxidant. At 750ml and 4.5%, it is positioned as a light, effervescent entry point to Korean traditional alcohol for drinkers who might not gravitate toward grain-forward styles, offering genuine complexity beneath its playful presentation.
