Gamuchi 43% is a high-proof rice spirit from Chungcheongbuk-do, distilled by Danong Bio from Korean rice with ipguk (cultured rice koji) and yeast. At 43% ABV, it sits at the upper boundary of Korean artisan soju, yet the ipguk-driven fermentation produces a remarkably clean distillate - no harsh grain bite, no rough alcohol edges, just a silky texture that opens quietly and then spreads warmth evenly across the palate.
