The recipe layers rice fermentation with unusual Korean botanicals: okbun (jade powder), young silver grass shoots (억새), and lithospermum root (지초). These ingredients give the spirit a distinctive herbal accent uncommon in standard Korean distillates. Yuksipildo (61 Degrees) is a 61% ABV distilled spirit from Gyeonggi-do's Jeon Family Brewery (Sulbijneunjeongane), sharing the same botanical blueprint as its sibling Sasipodo but at dramatically higher concentration. Rice, yeast, lactic acid, okbun, young silver grass shoots, and lithospermum root create a layered herbal profile beneath the considerable heat.
