Sailro Makgeolli is a 10% ABV makgeolli from Sejong, blending domestic glutinous and non-glutinous rice with improved nuruk. The dual-rice formula creates a richer mouthfeel than single-grain versions — chapssal adds creamy sweetness while mepssal provides structural backbone. The higher proof gives this more drive and depth than everyday makgeolli, yet the overall impression remains approachable. It rewards pairing with crispy jeon, fried chicken, and bright, tangy kimchi where its full body can match bold flavors.

Silo 6 is a 6% ABV makgeolli from Sejong by Silo Brewery, brewed with domestic glutinous rice, non-glutinous rice, improved nuruk, yeast, and purified water. The dual-rice formula at this gentle proof creates an approachable, sessionable makgeolli where chapssal's creaminess and mepssal's clean backbone are balanced without any heaviness. At 750ml, it is a generous everyday bottle meant for casual meals with jeon, fried chicken, and simple banchan where refreshment takes priority over complexity.
