Yeosubambada Corn Makgeolli is a 6% ABV makgeolli from Jeollanam-do, produced by Sae Suncheon Brewing using purified water, corn powder, xylitol, yeast, nuruk, corn syrup (mulyeot), and refined enzyme. Named after Yeosu's famous nighttime sea view ("Yeosu bam bada"), this makgeolli takes the unusual approach of building its grain base from corn powder rather than rice, producing a distinctly sweet, roasted corn character that sets it apart from conventional styles. Xylitol provides additional sweetness with a cooling sensation, while corn syrup rounds the body. The result is a dessert-adjacent makgeolli with an unmistakable corn identity.
