Han Yeongseok Baeksu Hwandongju is a 15% ABV cheongju from Jeollabuk-do, brewed by Han Yeongseok Fermentation Laboratory using domestic glutinous rice and a proprietary house nuruk. The house-style nuruk gives this cheongju a distinctive fermentation signature, producing a polished clarity with a quiet depth that unfolds gradually. Glutinous rice adds a rounded, silky grain note that lingers longer than expected, while the 15% proof provides enough structure for formal dining. It excels beside grilled fish, steamed dishes, and multi-course hanjeongsik where elegance is the priority.
