Taesaju is a 35% ABV soju from Gyeongsangbuk-do, distilled from a multi-grain mash of glutinous rice, sweet potato, and barley. The sweet potato lends an earthy warmth that sets it apart from single-grain distillates, while the barley adds a dry backbone that structures the finish. At its proof, it delivers clean intensity with unexpected smoothness, rewarding slow sipping alongside bossam, galbi, or sashimi where its layered grain character can quietly complement rich flavors.
