Seolgung

Description

Seolgung is a 30% ABV specialty spirit from Gangwon-do composed of three premium wild ingredients: natural pine mushroom (songi), mountain-cultivated wild ginseng (sanyang sansam), and native Korean honey (tojong beolkkul). The pine mushroom contributes a distinctive savory, almost truffle-like aromatic depth, while the wild ginseng adds earthy warmth and the honey softens the overall profile with floral sweetness. This triple-infusion approach is uncommon even within Korea's diverse traditional spirits landscape. It won the top prize at the 2017 Korea Traditional Liquor Awards, and the 700ml bottle positions it as a serious contemplative spirit for special occasions.
