용소주
Yongsoju in Hongcheon, Gangwon, creates dragon-inspired premium soju with a modern edge.
M24
M24 is a 24% ABV spirit from Gangwon-do, produced by Yongsoju using rice, nuruk, and buckwheat (memil). Buckwheat is an unusual base ingredient in Korean spirits — more commonly associated with soba noodles and savory crepes — and its inclusion gives M24 a distinctive nutty, earthy edge that sets it apart from pure rice distillates. The rice and nuruk foundation provides clean grain structure, while buckwheat deepens the mid-palate with a roasted, slightly herbaceous character. At 375ml and 24%, it occupies a comfortable sipping position where the proof is present but not aggressive. Gangwon-do is one of Korea's buckwheat heartlands, making this a genuinely terroir-driven expression.
