Tropical Night Makgeolli (Yeoldaeya) is a 9% ABV makgeolli from Seoul's Nalssi Brewery that adds mango and lemon to a traditional rice and nuruk base. The tropical fruit infusion pushes the flavor profile well beyond conventional makgeolli territory, delivering a bright, juicy opening followed by the familiar creamy texture of rice fermentation. Glutinous rice adds body and viscosity, while the lemon prevents the mango sweetness from becoming one-dimensional.
