진도대복홍주 진 22호
Jindo Daebok Hongju Jin No. 22 is a 60% ABV spirit from Jeollanam-do, distilled from domestic black glutinous rice and jicho (Lithospermum erythrorhizon) root by Jindo Hongju Brewery. Jicho is the botanical that gives all Jindo hongju its signature crimson color and distinctive herbal character — an earthy, slightly medicinal warmth that sets this spirit apart from grain-only distillates. At 1,800ml and 60%, this is a serious, ceremonial-scale bottle meant for slow sipping, dilution, or special occasions. The "Jin 22ho" designation indicates a specific expression within the brewery's lineup, likely a higher-proof rendition of their standard hongju. Jindo Island's hongju tradition is one of the most historically significant spirits traditions in Korea.
